Katherine Kitterman, historical director for Better Days 2020, earned her BA in International Relations and German Studies and a Master of Public Policy degree from Brigham Young University. She is currently a PhD candidate in American History at American University in Washington, DC, where she has brought history to life at the Smithsonian Institution, the Holocaust Memorial Museum, and Woodrow Wilson House. With Dr. Naomi Watkins and illustrator Brooke Smart, she recently published Champions of Change: 25 Women Who Made History, which introduces readers to Utah women's advocates from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.
